The Taoscán

The world’s first whiskey to be finished in Port & Chestnut, The Taoscán is a showstopping single malt, destined to restore Irish whiskey to a world stage in a rare, limited-edition release of just 4,000 bottles.

Created by the award-winning designer, Tiago Russo, The Taoscán offers every element for the perfect pour. A graceful, refined design, the walnut of the base calls to mind the rich, dark tones of an elegant bar, while the copper stems honour the cooperage and tones of a distillery.

Based on an open tray design, The Taoscán was created to be the centre of attention, a true centrepiece when brought to a table to be served. Visible from any angle, this 360-degree open design allows the bottle and the colours of the whiskey to showcase no matter the angle.

The copper structure brings warmth to the tray, while the dark wood and leather handles bring a richness of textures to hold and admire, with a bottle that rises into a masculine silhouette, finished in obsidian detailing.

The bespoke Taoscán glass vessel presents a faceted design with a thick base that elevates the whiskey, diamond-shaped towards the front, amongst a richness of colours that highlight the whiskey, always with the copper, leather and wooden accents in the background.

The tray, on the other hand, combines everything needed for the ultimate whiskey-tasting experience. Accessories, glass and bottle are precisely set into pockets that create the perfect immersion amongst the walnut and copper details.

Open the clasps in the display case and remove the lid by the upper leather handle, revealing the tray. As an open design, any component can be accessed at any point, from any angle. Glass, coaster and whiskey stones start the tasting experience, leading to the pour of the whiskey, before the pipette extracts water from the carafe in order to open up the flavours, making The Taoscán the ultimate bar tasting experience, where one single product conveys every detail to allow the absolute perfect immersion.
