Home Sweet Home. That special feeling when you come home, who doesn't know it? This eat-in kitchen was created especially for a family of three. Designer and artist Zsolt Szalai made it his mission to create an Eat-In Kitchen where the small family finally gets that feeling. He has created a mixture of minimalism, personality and design.
Located in Vienna's fourth district, the apartment is a spacious accommodation with an area of around 90m². The premises were originally in a dilapidated state and needed extensive renovation. Despite difficult slopes throughout the apartment, the designer managed to make the most of each room by using custom furniture. The apartment had great potential and through design and remodeling became this family's long-awaited home.
The designer is known for his choice of materials and colors, as well as his design language. He believes that a thoughtful and timeless concept of space is the most sustainable design. He creates an open and serene atmosphere for clients and their personal and individual items that make a home a home.
An open fireplace, located in the center of the dining kitchen, makes winter a cozy, warm and comfortable family time. The windows, as well as the small balcony, with a view of the green courtyard, let in light and sun.
