Theater Chair Luis

"Luis„ is a theater chair and a part of a copy right collection of 3 types of auditorium chairs.
The used materials are transparent plexiglas- lasercut, with a smooth ambiente illumination and durable high quality fabric for the seat, armrest and the lumbar backrest. Both can be replaced by durable, comfortable options like high tech polymer, carbon, ntp etc.
The chair has a coushoned rigid cantilever seat 50/45 cm, at 45 cm height. The profile of the seat is concave under the legs to improve the bloodcirculation and convex in the middle to prevent sliding forward. A slot in the middle of the rear part is protecting the coccyx. The seat can be occupied by turning it backwards, not forward, as usually. This patented feature is allowing it`s oscillation under the bodyweight while seating. Multiple adjustable leaf springs underneaths are providig the smooth feedering. The backrest and the armrest supporting the upperbody create a decompression in the lumbar part of the spine thanks the profile of the backrest - according to Dr. Akelbrom, inclinated backwards and following the backbone curves – concave with 140 cm radius in the upper part and convex with 13 cm radius below. The decompression in the lumbar area could last 1/3 up to 2/3 of the sitting sessions, depending on the adjustment of the features.
The comfortable armrest is adjustable in the height, with a concave surface directed to the seat while the next armrest is directed to the neighbour. This is allowing to install the chairs behind each other in rows, by changing the directions of the armrests in each row to provide better visibility of the stage. Optionally can be used asymetric backrests corresponding to the asymetric armrest and the folded seat could slide backwards to enlarge the front space.
The side view is reminding a fist rising from the ground, a symbol of togetherness and solidarity to inspire the audience by any kind of events.
The assembly is simplified, allowing a successful mass production without negative environmental impact.
