Whatever Wherever

I’ve always found comfort in doing everything from bed—or lying on the floor—and I know I’m not alone. But every time I try sketching in these relaxed positions, I struggle with the instability of soft or uneven surfaces. That discomfort inspired me to design a portable sketch pad with a built-in lamp, making it easier to draw comfortably anywhere, anytime. This product empowers people to create whatever, wherever—no desk required.

I used wood as the main material to give the product a warm, sturdy foundation. To enhance the design, I incorporated acrylic cylinders and colorful acrylic sheets. These elements not only add a modern aesthetic but also interact beautifully with light, casting colorful reflections that make the drawing experience more playful and inspiring.
