The Ring Set consists of three individual rings that can be worn separately, exchanged with friends, or combined in different alloys. The possibility of mixing silver, gold, and rose-gold-plated rings allows for limitless personalization, ensuring the rings complement various outfits and styles. Each ring is carefully designed with adaptability in mind, providing both comfort and versatility.
Inspired by classical paintings and mythology, the Ring Set subtly represents the human form in an abstract way. It draws inspiration from the Charites, or Graces, the Greek and Roman sub-goddesses associated with beauty, grace, and joy. The three Graces - Euphrosyne (the cheerful one), Thalia (the blooming one), and Aglaia (the shining one) - have been recurring motifs in art history, symbolizing elegance and harmony. The design reflects this theme.
The middle ring overlaps the outer rings, creating an impression of connection while ensuring comfort. The slight spacing between the rings allows the skin to breathe and enhances wearability. One side of the assembled rings is intentionally made narrower to improve both comfort and aesthetic balance.
The Graces have appeared in numerous artistic movements, from Botticelli’s Primavera and Raphael’s Renaissance interpretations to Picasso’s neoclassical works and Niki de Saint Phalle’s modern sculptures. These depictions reinforce an essential truth: beauty is fluid and evolves across eras and cultures. Despite the recurring motif of the Graces, their representation has changed over time, sometimes appearing youthful and slender, other times mature and robust, depicted clothed or unclothed, with varying expressions and gestures.
These variations highlight the paradox of beauty: there is no single ideal. True beauty lies in uniqueness and individuality. The Ring Set embodies this dynamic ideal, allowing wearers to express their personal sense of beauty and grace. It is more than jewelry; it is wearable art, an homage to mythology, and a reminder that the true grace of being human lies in diversity and individuality.
