Design and development of the programable keyboard for the Thermo Scientific™ Helios™ 5 electron microscope. The top surface of the keyboard is made of plastic with a soft satin finish that is pleasant to the touch. The semi-translucent material allows the icons of the programmable buttons to shine through. The aluminum keyboard body provides a stable and rigid construction for precise control of the microscope.
