The five-axis linkage VMC(vertical machining centre) is a cutting-edge machine tool that leverages the coordinated control of five axes, namely X/Y/Z/A/C, for multi-angle workpiece machining with high accuracy and efficiency. Its unique high-stability structure and fully closed-loop control system allow it to be widely applicable in areas such as aerospace and moulds, where superior parts machining is needed.
The internal frame of this machining centre is built using a gantry structure, which offers maximum rigidity and significantly reduces the vibrations generated during the complex machining process. The design of the front and rear enlarged support surface of the base and column further strengthens the stability of the machine tool, providing a robust foundation for precision machining. Notably, the product utilises a DD-supporting cradle rotary table and achieves the gearless rotary. This feature not only ensures exceptional motion precision but also enables high-speed displacement of 48M/min and acceleration of 0.6G, thereby expanding the machining range. The castings of the product undergo secondary tempering, which significantly improves the toughness of the castings and provides a fundamental guarantee for structural strength.
The machine is equipped with a five-axis fully closed-loop control system, which can monitor and adjust each axis's position, speed, and acceleration in real-time. This ensures repetitive positioning of the mechanical parts and machining accuracy of 5-15 um. Furthermore, the product integrates automation functions, which can automatically compensate for the errors caused by mechanical wear and temperature changes, ensuring high performance on production lines running 24/7.
