A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Oops, wrong case)) This project started with a tiny sketch on a piece of paper on the way home (more than 3 years ago). I came up with the idea to make an armchair that will dominate the interior of any home and beyond. So CL (Circle Lounge) O (like ????) is not only the big chair but also the functional one. It consists of segments that can be tailored with variable softness to the specific preferences or medical indications of the client. In today's digital world with a sedentary lifestyle, it is important not only to take care of your back, but also your eyesight. And what could be better than reclining in a comfortable chair with your favorite book and comfortable lighting around? Wait a minute...Lighting?... What about UI of this case? Ok, after hours of brainstorming I decide to use spherical elements...Why? Because it's the purest form worldwide and if you put a little notch on it the customer can easily realize which side should he spin to let the magic begins). Now, let me turn your attention to the materials and show you the mix of carbon fiber, steel and leather. I would like to pay special attention to carbon fiber. This crazy material gives you all: variable wall thickness (that provides a great weight/stiffness ratio), unlimited form variations, and last but not least- "looks like a supercar" feeling). Proud to have won the NY Product design awards silver • Home interior • Decorative items • with SCALARIA designed for @mad_lab_ @asbulnes . A sober object handmade with american cherry wood that becomes a decorative item just when you interact with it, that is luxury. . The collection refers to the ancestral forms of stepped construction, documented by the Roman architect Vitruvius, a vertical constructive game reminiscent of 19th century secretaire furniture. A paradoxical object that contains other smaller objects of emotional value. Created with American cherry wood, the drawers pivot on a central axis and transform the piece up and down according to the possibilities of perspective, alluding to the work of M.C. Escher, «Relativity.»
